Lancaster City Council Community Connectorswww.lancaster.gov.uk/sites/community-hub/community-connectorscommunityconnectors@lancaster.gov.ukJamie Murphy, Adam Kirkby and Matthew Isherwood.  Lancaster and area give huge amounts of events and groups.
Remember that it is not the city council but the County Council that is responsible for things like: Schools, Roads (and potholes), Police, Fire etc services.
Parish and smaller Town Councils have a lower responsibility

County Council

Lancashire

They are responsible for a wide range but most obviously roads (potholes, signs), police, fire brigade, social care, education, libraries.
LCC has a lot of what it calls Centres for the value of chilren of specific ages, problems, difficultieshttps://www6.apps.lancashire.gov.uk/w/webpage/all-eventsLook at the web page and pick out where you are and what you need.  01524 581280This comes out as almost every day of the year but generally during shool times.

Council

Lancaster, Morecambe and surrounds

The council has tried exceptionally hard to cut back in Government funding and gradual increases in costs over the last 14 years.  As such
entire buildings owned by them are no longer in use, and any opportunity to save money has to be chased.  We are seeing quick and easy loss of
street rubbish bins for instance.  Many aspects that worked well with Council money (e.g. the Dukes) is also having problems.  Where there is an
answer to this is not clear.
